The Foresters is situated on the A61, about one mile south of Wakefield. Meals are served at lunchtimes, and there is a games room with two pool tables, a pinball machine and fruit machines. On match days, a giant screen appears out of the ceiling covering Sky Digital transmissions. Bargain hunters can enjoy the happy hour between 5-7 pm and also enter the free quiz on Thursday night with beer prizes. Sunday lunches (served between 12 and 2) are a scoop at just £3.75. At the Foresters, most nightly events start at 8:30. Friday is the pop disco, and Saturday is the Golden Oldies night with both a disco and quizes. Karaoke is proving popular at The Foresters - this is usually held on a Tuesday night - but go in the pub and ask for details!
